This means Christians are called to show kindness, respect, and compassion towards everyone they encounter regardless of their background, beliefs, or lifestyle. Christians believe that by following Jesus’ example, they can become more like him and grow closer to God. Christians believe that by positively impacting the world around them they can honor and and fulfill their purpose in life. Christians historically have contributed to many changes in the world, be it their role in abolishing slavery or making cases against the death penalty. Even today, they are champions of social justice and guidance.
